Central Retinal Artery Occlusion

Central Retinal Artery Occlusion is blockage of blood flow through the Central Retinal Artery (usually in one eye); causes sudden, permanent loss of vision. Retinal changes include opaque inner layers, cherry red macular spot (disapears after about two weeks), and markedly thin arteries.
