Presumed Ocular Histoplasmosis Syndrome - is a chorioretinal disease characterized by fluid leakage, hemorrhage and scarring in the macula (disciform degeneration), atrophy near the optic disc, and "punched-out" choroidal lesions in the peripheral retina. Epidemiologically and immunologically linked to histoplasmosis allergy.
